The highest yields were observed in the variants with three times application of the biological product during the growing season and seed treatment + three times application during the growing season. In the Slouta variety, the yield was in the range of 26.6-28.4 t/ha, in the Kimmeria variety 30.5-32.5 t/ha. When determining the damage to plantations by viral diseases, an increase in the number of diseased plants with external signs of their manifestation in the control variant and a decrease in the incidence when applying the biological product during the growing season were found. The difference of these performance indicators between these variants was within the error. No significant effect on the productivity and susceptibility of potato plantations to viral diseases was found during seed treatment with this preparation. Analyzing the results of the conducted research, to improve the quality characteristics of potato seeds, we recommend three times application of Avatar-2 Protection 200 ml/ha during the growing season. When determining the seed productivity of basic seed potatoes of registered varieties in the southwestern part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, the highest yield among potato varieties was found in the group of ultra-early varieties - Vzirets - 39.3 t/ha, early varieties - Bazaliya - 42.2 t/ha, medium early varieties - Mezhyrichka - 28.3 t/ha, medium ripe varieties - Syngaivka 41.6 t/ha, Alliance 41.4 t/ha and Predslava 40.1 t/ha.
