It is shown that due to the reduction of perennial grasses on arable land, including slopes, in recent years, the main direction of their use by agricultural formations and farms of the Chernivtsi region has been the cultivation of market-oriented crops, primarily corn, soybeans, winter wheat, sunflower and winter rape. This leads to the spread of erosion processes on the slopes. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the scientific basis and ecological and economic principles of forming an effective agricultural land use system, taking into account regional characteristics. The Bukovyna SARS of IARCI has developed measures to protect soil from erosion in sloping agricultural landscapes based on the use of perennial fodder grasses and energy crop miscanthus. On average, in 2021-2023, sowing a grass mixture of alfalfa with meadow clover and awnless fescue on acidified soil with the application of phosphorus-potassium fertilizers (P90K90) provided the highest dry matter yield in the experiment - 9.38 t/ha on the slope of the northeastern exposure and 7.87 t/ha on the slope of the southwestern exposure. Continuous monitoring of the development of erosion processes during the passage of melt and rainwater runoff confirmed the high soil protection capacity of the studied anti-erosion complex. No soil washout was observed in the slope agricultural landscape. Product Description popup.authors Olifirovych Volodymyr Oleksandrovich Sandulyak Tatyana Mykolaivna popup.nrat_date 2023-12-25 Close
