To date, the use of CO2 has high prospects in the field of increasing oil yield, especially for the development of high-viscosity oil deposits, which is relevant in the future and is currently developing. Calculation of reservoir oil yield using CO2 is carried out with the help of models where the porous structure of the reservoir is considered as a set of channels and capillaries along which the fluid moves in laminar mode. The problem is related to the fact that the use of models of supercritical extraction processes requires knowledge of transfer coefficients, first of all, the diffusion coefficient. The Taylor diffusion method allows you to determine the binary diffusion coefficients, while processing the results it is assumed that the profile of cross-sectional velocities is parabolic. It was found that in the thermodynamic vicinity of the critical point, where the compressibility of the fluid increases significantly, the profile differs from the parabolic distribution. To determine the velocity profile, an analytical dependence that takes into account the anomalously high compressibility of the fluid is required.
