Models of operation of hydroelectric power plants and gas power plants in the structure of IPS of Ukraine on the electricity market will built. On the basis of analytical studies, methods for assessing the condition of structural nodes of generating equipment of HPP and HPSPPs, principles of building a capacitive air gap meter in hydro generators resistant to the influence of magnetic fields, as well as a capacitive radial vibration sensor of the stator core winding rod have been developed. The results of the performed research are planned to be used in the next stages of work to develop means of solving the problems of optimal use of hydro resources in the cascade of hydroelectric power plants and hydroelectric power plants for the production and release of electric energy, the development of computer models of sensors to determine their technical characteristics and measurement errors, the development of mock-up samples of sensors and carrying out their experimental and research operation. The most important research results were published in scientific journals: (category A, Scopus, according to the Scimago classification – quartile Q3 and category B).
