The object of the study is dental caries, periodontal disease, dental and jaw anomalies in military personnel. The purpose of the work is to analyze and compare indicators of dental morbidity among military personnel in peacetime and wartime periods. Research methods are epidemiological, clinical, biochemical, biophysical, optical, statistical. Equipment – ​​spectrophotometer UV mini-1240 Shimadzu, ionometer ЕВ-74, electronic balance BL-220H, centrifuge RS-6, spectrocolorimeter type "Pulsar", ionometer РН-150М, laboratory balance VLR-200 and electronic analytical balance ESJ-60, centrifuge RS -6. Scientific novelty. For the first time in Ukraine, changes in the state of hard dental tissues and periodontal tissues in different age groups of military personnel were systematically analyzed, demonstrating the gradual deterioration of the state of teeth with increasing age. Thus, the CPVz index in the age group of 51-60 years is 22.0±2.3, which is significantly higher than in younger age groups. Differences in the level of oral hygiene among military personnel were revealed, which may be due to the specific conditions of military service, including limited conditions for the care of teeth and gums.  Based on biochemical and biophysical studies, it was established that combat conditions have a pronounced effect on the body of military personnel, causing changes in the biochemical status and electrophysiological characteristics of cells, which indicate stress-induced disturbances in cellular metabolism and their structure. 3 abstracts of reports at conferences have been published.
