To carry out experimental work on the study of the parameters of the elements and signals of the RF SQUID, two cryogenic inserts were designed and manufactured into a transport dewar with two sets of RF SQUID. The parameters of individual components in the general scheme of construction of the single photon counter, including the inductances of the qubit and SQUID circuits, the coupling coefficients of the qubit with the measuring path (RF SQUID), the channels for controlling the energy potential of the qubit and the possibilities of its control, and the channel for interaction with radiation, are estimated. A circuit of a low-temperature matching RF amplifier with a high input impedance and low intrinsic noise was designed. An amplitude-phase detector based on the modern element base of Analog Devices was also designed and manufactured. A double balanced mixer with low distortion was used as a phase detector. For amplitude detection, a logarithmic conversion scheme was used to convert the RF signal amplitude into a constant voltage, which significantly increased the dynamic range of the detector.
