The volume of electricity production by cogeneration power plants on biogas is estimated, on the condition that 20% of all produced biogas will be used for this purpose. A simulated GT model was developed based on information about the universal characteristics of a turbine of this type, which provides acceptable for practical calculations the accuracy of the analysis of operating modes within the range of data changes on universal characteristics with the assumption of the similarity theory of turbomachines about the equality of efficiency in similar modes.
