The purpose of the research is to develop a preventive and treatment program for patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract with a violation of the nutritional status based on a comprehensive study of the factors that contribute to the development of these violations. Research methods: clinical, instrumental, biochemical, immunoenzymatic, statistical. As a result of a comprehensive study, it was established that nutritional status disorders were noted in 90.0% of gastroenterology patients, while 67.5% were diagnosed with obesity. In patients with visceral obesity, atherogenic dyslipidemia, cytokine imbalance, violation of carbohydrate metabolism in the form of insulin resistance, a decrease in the total content of polyunsaturated fatty acids against the background of a significant increase in saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids, a probable increase in the content of ghrelin and leptin were determined. The leading role of fibroblast growth factor-21 as a key regulator of metabolic disorders has been established. Predictors of the development of visceral obesity were identified, and a program for the correction of visceral obesity in gastroenterology patients was substantiated and developed. Equipment: TANITA body composition analyzer, Chromatek-Crystal 5000 gas chromatograph, STAT FAX 303 PLUS immunoenzyme analyzer.
