Registration Date 31-12-2023 Organization V.P. Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 By the task of the third stage, a complete comparative physico-chemical analysis of industrial catalysts before and after the process of hydrogenation of carbon oxides was made. It was established that the composition of the catalysts before and after the process remains unchanged. To obtain the target product - methanol, several comparative studies were carried out to determine the catalytic characteristics of the industrial granular SNM-U catalyst using "lean" and "rich" working mixtures of carbon oxide gases. According to the obtained results, under the conditions of mechanoactivation, it was possible to lower the working temperature of the process by almost 20 °С at unchanged rates for the main products of the hydrogenation reaction. It was established that the directed protons current through the composite membrane catalyst based on the industrial catalyst SNM-U on a flexible base showed an inhibitory effect on the active centres of the conversion of carbon oxides into methanol due to the dominant reaction of methanation. It has been experimentally shown that a nickel-molybdenum-aluminium oxide active catalytic component in combination with a cobalt catalyst on a ceramic basis selectively hydrogenates carbon oxides to methane with the possibility of carbon chain extension due to the formation of alkenes.
