For this purpose, as a sorbent will be used modified shells of fly larvae, which are formed as waste from the food industry. The shells of the fly larvae exhibit exceptional sorption properties. They are thin, mechanically quite stable structures consisting of almost pure chitin. The use of fly waste can solve all the problems associated with the use of other sorbents based on chitin (low sorption rate, microbial degradation, etc.).
