Object of study - soil formation processes, physicochemical properties, content of exchangeable cations in the GWC of grey forest soil under conditions of different agrochemical fertilisation in the agrocenosis. Research methods - field experiment, laboratory, analytical, mathematical and statistical, comparative and calculation. Results of the study - in the northern part of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe, grey forest coarse-dusty light loamy soils have a clearly expressed sod process by morphological characteristics and properties, and podzolic soils have a weaker sod process. The humus content depended on the fertilisation and liming system and was 1.44-2.42 %. It was determined that the content of Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the profile of grey forest soil varied depending on the doses and forms of ameliorants, as well as on the doses of NPK. Evaluation of physical and chemical properties in the 3rd year of application of different doses and types of ameliorants (0.5-1.5 Ng CaCO3 and CaMg(CO3)2, against the background of the organic-mineral fertilisation system ensured optimisation of exchangeable cations in the soil (Ca2+ - 77-84%, Mg2+ - 10-12%, H+ - 6-11%) and higher grain yield of buckwheat (Sin 3/02) by 22-38% compared to the unfertilised soil.
