The purpose of the work is theoretical research of new physical principles of generating powerful electromagnetic radiation and high-gradient acceleration of charged particles by wake fields excited in plasma and dielectric by electron bunches or a laser pulse; simulation of processes in streamer discharges in non-equilibrium plasma chemistry. The main scientific results are as follows: - resonant conditions of wave - particles interaction are formulated for unlimited acceleration of charged particles by a strong electromagnetic wave field in a vacuum without an external magnetic field; - radiation friction force in a beam of relativistic electrons moving in the external periodic field of a free electron laser undulator is determined; - analytical theory of the wakefield excitation by an off-axis driving electron bunch in a cylindrical dielectric structure was developed; - scheme of wakefield acceleration of charged particles by Langmuir oscillations excited by a laser pulse in an optical plasma resonator was investigated; - the possibility of isolation of electrons by the magnetic field of the casp for a compensated ion beam for its acceleration in the problem of heavy-ion inertial thermonuclear fusion was investigated.
