Registration Date 01-01-2024 Organization Cherkasy State Technological University popup.description2 The current trend in reducing the cost of textile products is the reuse of resources through the recycling of industrial wastewater. The object of research is the process of adsorption treatment of wastewater from textile and dyeing production with a natural sorbent zeolite with their subsequent use in fabric dyeing technology. The subject of the study is the wastewater from the textile and dyeing production of PJSC "Cherkasy Silk Mill" (Cherkasy, Ukraine). The aim of the work is to develop the scientific basis of the technology of adsorption treatment of wastewater from textile and dyeing production with the possibility of its reuse in the process of fabric dyeing. The main scientific result is the recycling of wastewater from textile and dyeing production obtained by adsorption treatment. A series of experimental studies carried out adsorption treatment of wastewater with a pre-activated and acid-modified zeolite sorbent, followed by coagulation and flocculation to a purification rate of 91%, which made it possible to use it in the technology of dyeing cotton and polyester fabrics with direct, active and dispersed dyes, obtaining a dye intensity of dyed fabrics at the level of 95% compared to the standard (100%); the resistance of the obtained dyes to dry and wet friction, soap, and "sweat" at the level of 3-4 points according to the "Grey Standard Scale" (with the standard being 4 points) was determined. A basic flow chart of the fabric dyeing process with cyclical use of treated wastewater was developed. This technology saves 10% of costs. The problem of utilisation of the spent sorbent by laboratory phytotesting was solved. The phytotoxicity of zeolite does not exceed 20%, which indicates the absence of its toxicity and allows us to predict its use as a secondary material resource: as part of the road pavement base to ensure stable operation of the road structure; in the production of construction materials.
