The subject of the study is the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of ensuring the adaptive development of retail. The most significant results that characterize the scientific novelty of R&D are the following: the contribution of trade to ensuring the achievement of sustainable development goals is determined; the stages of the life trajectory of retail, which was formed during the war, were identified; the priority areas of adaptive development of network retail in the conditions of European integration of Ukraine are defined; scientific approaches to the use of omnichannel as an effective tool for increasing profitability in retail have gained further development; improved scientific approaches to ensuring the sustainable development of a retail trade enterprise on the basis of anti-crisis management; the factors of formation of the economic potential of the retail trade enterprise are identified; the theoretical and methodological principles of structuring the financial potential of a retail trade enterprise based on a combination of the stakeholder approach in management and the resource concept have been improved; the theoretical and methodological principles of the introduction of process-oriented controlling of the operational activity of the retail trade enterprise have been improved; improved methodical approaches to forecasting retail turnover in conditions of instability and global fluctuations.
