It is substantiated that in modern conditions of digitalization, it is expedient to improve approaches and evaluation methods due to innovative technologies and artificial intelligence, which will allow optimizing the process from data collection to building forecasts and modeling scenarios. The drivers of sustainable development of countries in the conditions of globalization processes are studied: development of alternative energy, low-carbon economy, circular economy. It is substantiated that digital distribution has a significant potential for implementing the principles of sustainable development, which in the conditions of globalization and digitization of the world economic system leads to a change in consumer behavior and a change in his worldview, which confirms the proposed cyclical mechanism of the information influence on the standard of living of the population. It is proved that the concept of sustainable development has become the main paradigm of society's progress, and the development of the circular economy can be considered as one of the mechanisms for achieving the goals of sustainable development through the connection with such processes as: digitalization and globalization of the world economy, activation of innovative activities, development of digital distribution. The processes of the transition to a circular economy are analyzed, as a result of which three levels are distinguished: useful using of materials, extension of the product's service life, smart production and products’ using. The relationship between the circular economy and sustainable development is proved. The main business models of the circular economy, which allow to increase the resource and energy efficiency of the production and consumption of goods, as well as to reduce the negative impact on the environment, are considered.
