Research methods are zootechnical (conducting experiments on animals to determine productivity indicators), chemical (chemical analysis of milk and dairy products), statistical (biometric processing of results), analytical (generalization of research results). The substantiation of the use of dairy breeds of different selection under the conditions of intensive milk production technology was carried out. The milk productivity and breeding value of cows of different lines were determined. Scientifically based recommendations have been developed to increase the productivity of cows and young animals in dairy fattening due to compliance with the quality of animal feeding, improvement of breeding work in the direction of high-quality grouping of the herd and selection of parent pairs. Based on the results of the study of the main elements of technology, comprehensive measures are proposed to improve the breeding and productive qualities of animals. Suggested optimal terms of insemination of repair heifers, cows, taking into account their age, live weight, breed. An increase in milk yield during the milking period of cows during triple milking in highly productive cows was revealed up to 17.2%. It is recommended to carry out the separation of cows up to 120 days, which will make it possible to increase the productivity of cows up to 9.7%. A higher yield of milk raw materials from the milk of Jersey cows with better physicochemical parameters was revealed. The influence of different types of silage in diets on the formation of meat productivity of bulls of the Ukrainian black and spotted dairy breed was determined. The obtained results have important economic and social significance for providing the population with high-protein dairy and meat products.
