The purpose of the work: experimental confirmation of the hypothesis about the possibility reducing the force of friction and increasing the wear resistance of friction surfaces by creation of a special configuration of nanogeometry of roughness on surfaces, and also the search for such parameters of the volume roughness configuration which allow to evaluate the tribological efficiency of the surface taking into account direction of friction. Comparative tribological tests of shear friction pairs were carried out methods of finishing work surfaces.
