IU07466 Haldi bhati and IU074658 Pusa Naubahar were the most adaptable to the Southern Steppe zone of Ukraine. Varieties by ripeness group belong to the group of medium ripeness. The duration of the vegetation period of the sample IU074658 Pusa Naubahar was 134.4 days, IU074661 Haldi bhati – 138; according to the length of the stem, 58.4-60.1 cm, the height of the plants corresponds to the "small" gradation; samples had an average height of attachment of the lower bean - 14.1-13.8 cm; IU074658 Pusa Naubahar and IU074661 Haldi bhati formed 27.6 – 31.0 pieces of beans per plant and 131.6 – 160.6 pieces of seeds; the yield of the obtained seeds in relation to the standard variety IU074657 Ankur was 141.7 and 177.8%, respectively, which corresponds to the "very high" gradation. Correlation-regression analysis of the data obtained from the research results of the introduced samples of the guar gene pool shows that there is a direct relationship between the weight of seeds per square meter and the number of beans and seeds per plant. The correlation coefficient is 0.965 – 0.996, respectively. In the reporting year, intraspecific hybridization was carried out within 6 combinations by the method - without castration of the flowers of the mother plants. A total of 35 flowers were pollinated, and 11 beans were obtained. The average percentage of tying was 31.4. 23 hybrid seeds were obtained.
