Research methods - development based on modern approaches and physical and technical achievements of a new clinical dosimetry technique using anthropomorphic phantoms, creation of software tools for training medical physicists Within the framework of the entire project, the following will be carried out: modernization of a specialized hybrid 3D printer to speed up, improve the quality and make the production of anthropomorphic phantoms even cheaper; development and production of inexpensive TLD reader and OSL reader prototypes using new technologies; creation of a recalibration system for a standard scanner to reduce the price of the scanning device up to 5 times (less than $1.5 thousand); development of free RTPS for basic training of students in the field of medical physics, clinical dosimetry; creation of specialized software for effective training of students and staff in medical physics. Novelty (for the first time): will be developed new approaches to significantly improve the quality and safety of cancer treatment and X-ray diagnostics. At the first stage of the project, the following was carried out: the purchase of a workstation for the development of software products for training students and staff in medical physics, improving the quality of treatment using sources of ionizing radiation; modernization of the prototype of a specialized 3D printer for the production of anthropomorphic phantoms; development of a prototype OSL reader (first approximation); discussion with subcontractors (leading oncology clinics and the main institute for medical radiology and oncology) of the types of required phantoms.
