The purpose of the work: creation of a new starting material and breeding on its basis a white lupine variety, alkaloid-free, highly productive in terms of seeds and green mass, with improved fodder qualities, resistant to major diseases, suitable for ecologically safe cultivation technologies. Research methods: field, laboratory, measuring and weighing, mathematical and statistical. The main results of the research: a new breeding material of white lupine, resistant to spring frosts, diseases and bean cracking, was created for the 2023 stage of the task. A comprehensive evaluation of the new material was carried out in all nurseries of the selection process. According to the results of the evaluations, numbers were selected that differ in early maturity, resistance to fusarium wilt and tolerance to anthracnose, increased seed and vegetative productivity and other valuable characteristics. In the preliminary variety test, the best selection numbers with increased seed yield were selected: 764/36 (2.75 t/ha), 105/17 (2.70 t/ha), 705/18 (2.65 t/ha), 747/44 (2.65 t/ha), 108/2 (2.65 t/ha) and the duration of the vegetation period 118-126 days, which also exceed standards and analogues in terms of resistance to diseases, adverse biotic and abiotic environmental factors and are characterized by a number of other valuable signs.
