The subject of the study is historical factors and the system of training athletes in non-Olympic sports (coastal rowing, fin swimming, PUMSE taekwondo, sambo wrestling, sports dances, fishing). The purpose of the work is to determine the main prerequisites for the development of non-Olympic sports in the Middle Ages and modern history, which influenced the formation of the autonomy of non-Olympic sports, the formation of theoretical scientific knowledge of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the training system of non-Olympic sports athletes. Research methods. The following research methods were used to solve the set goal: - analysis of scientific-methodical literature and program-normative documents (domestic and foreign sources); - analysis and synthesis of theoretical material; - axiomatic, idealization, logical, descent from concrete, formalization. - systematic and historical (at the level of comparative-historical, historical-genetic and historical-typological) analysis - pedagogical observation; - analysis of competitive activity; -method of structural and logical analysis; -pedagogical testing; - pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics. During the reporting period, according to the planned topic, the direction of scientific research will be determined, namely, from the historical foundations of the development of non-Olympic sports at the international level and in Ukraine, the theoretical and methodological foundations of the training of athletes in non-Olympic sports (coastal rowing, fin swimming, PUMSE taekwondo, sambo wrestling, sports dances, fishing), published: 3 articles in foreign scientific publications and scientific publications included in the list of scientific specialized publications of Ukraine.
