The purpose of the work is to use samples of the lupine gene pool collection and selection material obtained in previous years, using modern selection methods to create and submit to the state variety test an adaptive, high-yielding, early-ripening variety of narrow-leaved grain-type lupine. Research methods - field, laboratory and methods of mathematical statistics. A new variety of narrow-leaved lupine Arctic of the grain type was created and submitted for state variety testing. The variety is early-ripening, the period from germination to ripening is 85-90 days. Plants of the determinant type, which ensures uniform ripening of seeds, affects the shortening of the vegetation period, resistance to lodging, contributes to less disease damage, better tolerates thickened and compatible crops with other crops. The average seed yield of the new variety is 2.6 t/ha, which is 0.4 t/ha higher than the Pelikan standard variety. The content of alkaloids in the seeds is 0.032%, the crude protein in the seeds is 33%, the weight of 1000 seeds is 125-130 g. Resistant to fusarium and anthracnose, lodging, cracking of beans.
