The purpose of the research: to study and scientifically substantiate the parameters of optimal provision of soil with fresh organic matter and the influence of fertilizers on the fertility indicators of sod-podzolic soil and the productivity of short-rotation crop rotations in Polissia. Research methods: generally accepted (hypothesis, experiment, analysis, synthesis, induction) and special (field and laboratory experiments, mathematical statistics). In the conditions of a stationary field experiment on turf-podzolic soil in short-rotational crop rotations of Polissia, the parameters of optimal provision of soil with organic matter of various origins, the dependence of crop yields, soil fertility indicators on various fertilization systems were determined. In the conditions of the sod-podzolic soils of Polissia, the application of straw in combination with siderates is an energetically highly effective measure of preserving and reproducing soil fertility, increasing the productivity of arable land use and the yield of agricultural crops in crop rotations. The highest coefficient of energy efficiency (3.82-5.50) was obtained on this option, while its value on the option with the introduction of 10 t/ha of manure was 3.24-3.86. At the same time, energy consumption per 1 ton of feed units decreases by 670-1010 MJ, and the energy efficiency ratio increases against the background without fertilizers by 23.0-27.0%, against the background of the application of N35-45P35K85 by 17.5-20.5% . The highest profit per 1 ha of crop rotation area was obtained on the options with application of 10 t/ha of manure, 1 t/ha of straw in combination with 5 t/ha of manure, and 1 t/ha of straw with siderates in crop rotation (11941-13102 UAH/ha ).
