The purpose of the work is to ensure the improvement of the quality of cast metal products in foundry production to determine the conditions and parameters of the simultaneous processing of the melt of foundry pre-eutectic silumins with various types of currents (direct current, alternating current, pulsed current), which form a superposition of electromagnetic fields, which realizes their maximum cumulative effect on the processes of structure formation. For the first time, an innovative method of processing a liquid metal melt with several currents with different characteristics was proposed to increase the functional capabilities of the current. For the first time, the author's analytical and computational method of breaking massive conductors into elementary cells was used to study the processes occurring in the melt, and the finite element method was adapted to the conditions inherent in the multivariate method in order to investigate the peculiarities of the distribution of electromagnetic and thermal fields, as well as current fields. This made it possible to obtain the most appropriate, more intensive processing modes, as well as to significantly reduce the number of full-scale experiments. It was experimentally established on the example of the AK7 alloy and the AK9M2 alloy that the application of the method in the presence of a significantly nonlinear load is capable of integrally and more intensively affecting the incubation processes of the formation of crystallization nuclei in the melt volume. As a result, a homogeneous fine-dispersed structure of the casting is obtained, the morphology of the intermetallics is positively changed, and the mechanical properties are improved.
