The goal of the NDR is the development and implementation of a new type of artificial magnetoelectric metamaterials as a basis for new applications in radio frequency (ultra high frequencies) and microwave technologies. As part of the work on the NDR, new technologies were developed for the synthesis of polymer and carbon spherical particles, as well as multilayer globular structures (GS), and the electromagnetic properties of composites (CM) with globular fillers were experimentally and theoretically investigated. The influence of the introduction of GS based on glass beads (SC) coated with a magnetic metal or its oxide into the composite material, the effect of the type of shell, the size of the glass beads, the nature of their location in the CM on the microwave characteristics of the composite materials GS/(nanocarbon + epoxy resin) was determined and carried out analysis of the mechanisms of interaction of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) with composites based on globular structures. The relationship between the structural and morphological parameters, the phase composition of CMs with globular structures, and their main electromagnetic characteristics (complex dielectric constant, reflection, absorption, and EMF transmission coefficients) was determined in order to obtain absorption control mechanisms in these metamaterials. Modeling of the absorption capacity of developed CMs in the frequency range of 25-40 GHz was carried out depending on the phase composition and thickness of CM samples. The concept of microwave absorbers based on the combination of various loss mechanisms in periodic globular structures is developed and strategies for the preparation of metasurfaces with controlled electromagnetic properties are proposed.
