The purpose of the work is to develop technical solutions and agree on design and technical documentation for ensuring gas safety for the project "Development of coal seams dangerous due to the gas factor" of "Krasnolymanske" LLC. Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining-technical conditions of working out the 6th bench of the northern slope № 1 of layer m42 of «Krasnolymanske» LLC were analyzed. The calculation of the expected release of methane within the excavation site, air consumption for ventilation of the excavation site, parameters and mode of degassing of the produced space was performed. The "Project of degassing of produced space 6 of the northern bench of slope № 1 using an underground degassing unit" was developed. "Recommendations for ensuring gas safety of the highly loaded (over 1,000 t per day) extraction site 6 of the northern bench of slope № 1 of «Krasnolymanske» LLC when using a reverse-flow ventilation scheme of type 1-M" and "Recommendations for ensuring gas safety during the operation of a gas suction unit" were developed VMCG-7M of excavation section 6 of the northern bench of slope № 1". "Measures for the rescue and self-rescue of underground workers during accidents in the workings of the excavation site" have been developed.
