Research methods - general scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction), laboratory (biochemical), mathematical - statistical (objective quantitative assessment of the obtained experimental data) It was established that a new sample of amaranth was obtained by free cross-pollination of the Ultra variety (A. hybridus) with a sample of the species (A. сruentus). Morphologically, the sample is similar to the parent variety Ultra, but has a difference in the color of the panicle, which simplifies the seed production of these two varieties. The obtained results are implemented in the production activity of LLC "Trading and industrial group "Amaranth".
