The spectral-optical properties of a number of fluorescent dyes were studied in relation to their reactions in the environment with ammonia and acetone vapors. Their sensitivity to microconcentrations of ammonia and acetone in a gas environment was determined. It was found, in particular, that the synthesized gas sensor films based on PVA doped with the Coumarin7+CT(CdTe) complex have the ability to sense the presence of ammonia in a vapor gas sample at the level of 10-5ppm. The ability to increase the sensitivity and selectivity of the created composite structures with nanometals, semiconductor quantum dots CdTe, fluorophores of the coumarin series, in the detection of ammonia and acetone was revealed.
