The purpose of the research: to economically justify the levels of optimization of the provision of soil with organic matter and nitrogen, while observing the main parameters of ecological sustainability of the agrocenosis. Methods: monographic; system analysis; abstract-logical; modeling; economic and mathematical; calculation and construction; balance; comparative analysis. The scientific principles of the ecological and economic substantiation of management measures for the direction of the processes of biological transformation of organic matter in the soil have been developed in order to ensure the extended reproduction of its fertility and the economic efficiency of agricultural crop cultivation technologies: - methodological and methodical approaches to the process of determining the ecological and economic efficiency of fertilization systems and measures to optimize the processes of transformation of organic matter in agrocenoses; - the method of carrying out an ecological and economic evaluation of the processes of transformation of organic matter in agrocenoses; - an information base of indicators of the ecological and economic efficiency of growing agricultural crops under different fertilization systems and measures to optimize the carbon-nitrogen ratio in leached black soil; - scientific and methodological recommendations for ecological and economic assessment of measures to optimize processes of transformation of organic matter in leached black soil. The use of research results will allow to develop strategies for fertilization of agricultural crops in crop rotations with their substantiation according to the criteria of ecological and economic efficiency of production.
