During research, it was established that the main problem with the constantly growing amount of information in the process of preparing information and analytical materials was the selection of information. Since the same information can be presented in different sources, it can be unverified, superficial, and outdated. Therefore, when searching for documents and databases, the reliability of information is determined by comparing it in different sources. The information and analytical activity of the NSAL of the NAAS is oriented towards the modern needs of agricultural science and education. Thanks to the latest information and communication technologies, conditions are created for the library to enter a new stage of development, which consists in the library's greater use of digital information arrays in its activities. Today, the information needed by the user is scattered among many information and library funds, databases and data banks, the Internet, etc. Therefore, it is extremely difficult for a modern scientist or student to find the necessary information among many information resources and to prepare for further analytical work.
