New hybrids with complex resistance to biotic and abiotic factors were analyzed and selected. Phenophases were noted in the selected samples: "seedlings-flowering" - 48-63 days, "seedlings-physiological maturity" - 85-115 days. The newly created selection material was involved in the selection system of crosses and 250 new hybrid combinations were created. The breeding ground for the creation of backcross pairs had 560 samples of different levels of backcrossing, another backcrossing of samples was carried out. A phenotypic evaluation of backcross pairs was carried out according to a number of characteristics. Four constant pairs are highlighted. In 2023, the ecologically plastic and stable sunflower hybrid Vilniy was submitted to the state variety test. Prepared methodical recommendations for seed production for the cultivation of the Vilnyi hybrid and its parent components.
