It is also necessary to investigate the effect of the fractional composition and alignment of rice seeds in order to improve sowing properties and to improve the elements of technology that ensure the production of high-quality seed material of new varieties of rice. The main questions that were put for study in 2023: - to determine the dependence of the quality of seed material of new varieties on the timing of harvesting; - to determine the influence of seed size of new varieties of rice in order to improve sowing qualities; Research results: In the conditions of 2023, the highest yield and yield of seeds for all varieties was obtained during the harvesting of seed crops in the phase of full maturity. Depending on the variety, the highest yield indicators of the Fagot variety are 9.6 t/ha in variant I, variety sample UIR 12.56.11. showed a yield of 7.3t/ha. And the lowest yield rate was in the plots of the Meridian -32 variety. The lowest yields and seed yield were obtained in plots harvested 20 days after the full maturity phase.
