While working on the topic, unknown archival materials, correspondence, and memoirs were processed and brought into scientific circulation, and the activities of Ivan Franko's literary, cultural, scientific, social, and political environment were highlighted. The expediency of studying this topic is primarily to preserve the fundamental orientation of academic science toward comprehensive and impartial knowledge and deep comprehension and rethinking of national literature, culture, history, including the classics, from a modern perspective.
