The purpose of the work is the development of technological processes that will allow improving the physical and mechanical characteristics of thermally non-strengthening aluminum alloys, in particular, under shock wave influence. Research methods include informational and analytical ones, reliability theory, probability theory, synergetics, mechanics of destruction. Technological regimes of complex energy treatment of the Al-Mg system materials, which increase their strength and durability, have been analyzed. Research has been conducted aimed at improving the physical and mechanical characteristics of aluminum alloys through the use of complex energy processing technology. Technological regimes aimed at improving the physical and mechanical characteristics of materials of the Al-Mg system for the constructive protection of vehicles have been developed. The results of the research can be used for theoretical and experimental research in the selection of energy processing modes, which allow to significantly increase the physical and mechanical characteristics of aluminum alloys, while not only the reliability and resource of the structure, but also to reduce its mass and metal content, which can lead to a significant economic effect, first of all, in rocket and space technology. Field of application – rocket and space technology, mechanical engineering, metallurgical industry. The significance of the work is that technological processes have been developed that will improve the physical and mechanical characteristics of thermally non-strengthening aluminum alloys, in particular, when exposed to shock waves. The obtained results can be used when choosing the direction of research on optimizing the properties of materials and, therefore, solving the important problem of increasing the strength, reliability and durability of products of rocket and space engineering, energy and transport engineering.
