It was found that against the background of a decrease in all indicators on the scales of the physical components of health, the most pronounced changes were recorded in the indicators of general health and role functioning caused by physical condition. In the psychological domain, the most pronounced changes were recorded in such components as mental health, vital activity and social functioning. A number of correlations were established between quality of life indicators in victims of hostilities. The closest probable positive correlation in men injured as a result of hostilities was established between physical functioning and role functioning caused by emotional state (r=+0.64; p<0.05). Calculation of the redox index demonstrated a decrease in the total power of the antioxidant system in blood lymphocytes of men injured as a result of hostilities. The content of MDA in the blood serum of patients of both age groups was 1.4 times higher than in the control group (p<0.05). In peripheral blood lymphocytes, the MDA content in patients of both age groups was 1.3-1.4 times higher than in the control group (p<0.05; p<0.01).The MDA content in blood serum of patients of both age groups was 1.4 times higher than in the control group (p<0.05). In peripheral blood lymphocytes, the MDA content in patients of both age groups was 1.3-1.4 times higher than in the control group (p<0.05; p<0.01). The activity of inducible (Ca2+-independent) de novo synthesis of NO significantly increases in blood serum and lymphocytes of men injured as a result of hostilities.
