The purpose of the work is to create methods for calculating the wear and reliability of parts of sliding and rolling tribosystems and to optimize, based on them, the design and technological characteristics of diffusion coating processes using a high-energy discharge. The methodological approach included: the development of the concept of increasing the contact endurance and wear resistance of elements with coatings during rolling friction; determining the influence of the structure and properties of coatings on the magnitude and distribution of stresses; experimental tests on wear and contact endurance when rolling in different environments after applying coatings according to integral technologies. As a result of the conducted research: justified choice of the type of coating and its application technology based on research on rolling friction; obtained the results of experimental research on changes in the properties of the diffusion coating after thermal activation using integral technologies; the influence of residual stresses in coatings on contact endurance during rolling friction was studied; new integral technologies for applying diffusion coatings are proposed, which provide a significant increase in contact durability and wear resistance of structural elements. For practical use: optimal technological modes of ion nitriding in anhydrous environments of rolling bearings have been developed; developed recommendations for increasing the contact durability, wear resistance and fretting resistance of structural elements with diffusion coatings on steels, titanium and its alloys, taking into account the operating conditions. The proposed technologies are energy-saving, allowing to reduce electricity consumption and reduce gas consumption i Product Description popup.authors Dykha Maksym Oleksandrovych Dykha Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Pavlo V.
