The main idea is to exclude routine operations of calculations and selection of necessary reference data from the process of designing and manufacturing products, which often lead to random mechanical errors and take a lot of time. The novelty of the work lies in the fact that, for the first time, a mechanism has been developed to support the work of a clothing and footwear designer using mobile technologies, which allows, in the process of learning design, to shift the emphasis on mechanical calculations to the direct process of construction and its features. At the same time, for the first time, with the manual version of work, parallelism in the processes of determining the geometric parameters of the structure and its direct construction is ensured. The project's primary goal is to develop a series of mobile application tools to support light industrial products' design and manufacturing processes, which can be used both in production and the learning process. The work results make it possible to reduce the time spent conducting research in textile materials science by eliminating calculation operations. In addition, such an application creates the prerequisites for improving the instruments used to measure material characteristics directly by transferring data from the instruments to the mobile application.
