The first comprehensive ecological and faunal description of Chiroptera of Central Ukraine has been prepared. Approaches to the identification and selection of key subterranean habitats for bats in plain regions have been analyzed. A thorough review of the habitats, habitats, wintering and migration status of Pipistrellus sibling species in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus was carried out. The dynamics of the range and number of Larus cachinnans during the 20-21 centuries are described. A method of measuring Larus sp nests has been developed. taking into account the nesting biology of different geographic bird populations of Ukraine and Poland. In the framework of research on hemosporidia of colonial birds of the order of Charadriiformes, infection of marsh terns of Ukraine and eastern Poland with parasites of the genera Plasmodium, Haemoproteus, and Leucocytozoon was established. The main factors affecting the distribution and reproduction of amphibians have been identified. For the first time, the distribution and distribution of the amphibian NPP Hutsulshchyna was comprehensively investigated. In addition, a study of the impact of hostilities on the functioning, environmental protection and scientific activities of Desnyansk-Starogutsk NPP and the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, which are partially mined and subjected to constant shelling, was conducted. The range dynamics of a number of vertebrate species in the Holocene on the territory of modern Ukraine were studied. The interrelationship of a number of indicator species with ecological and climatic factors was analyzed, the method of reconstruction of paleoclimatic and paleoecological conditions was developed. Osteological materials from 9 archaeological sites were studied, which made it possible to reconstruct climatic and ecological conditions in the historical past.
