The purpose of the work is to investigate the development of dangerous exogenous processes on the territory of Dnipro city, to identify the features of structurally unstable soils of the Serednie Prydniprovia region, to carry out calculations of the stability of the structure located next to the slope; develop recommendations for numerical modeling of foundations reinforced with vertical elements. Results of implementation: in the educational process, these findings are reflected in the lectures on the special course at the "Specialist" educational level. The work is continued on the candidate's dissertation by graduate students Yu. Volnianskyi and Ye. Luhovska (scientific supervisor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. V. L. Siedin ).
