The aim of this stage is to develop a method for phase ambiguity resolution in three-probe measurements of the linear plasma electron density. Method: analytical calculation and computer simulation. For arbitrary interprobe distances, the magnitude and phase of the reflection coefficient are related to the measured currents of the semiconductor detectors connected to the probes. A single-frequency and a two-frequency method are developed for phase ambiguity resolution in three-probe measurements of the linear plasma electron density. A method is developed for determining the actual interprobe distances using electrical measurements with the help of a short-circuiting piston. The results may be used as informational and methodological support at the next research stages.
