Some of the main parameters are: the angle of the seam; the depth of the coal seam; and the thickness of the coal seam. The scientific novelty of the work is to establish the regularity of stress changes in a surface gas pipeline as a function of the angle of occurrence of the coal seam, the depth of its development and its thickness, namely - with an increase in the angle of the coal seam, the maximum stress in the gas pipeline pipe decreases, and the safety factor of the gas pipeline pipe increases according to quadratic dependencies; - with an increase in the thickness of the coal seam, the maximum stress in the gas pipeline pipe increases, and the safety factor of the pipeline pipe decreases according to linear dependencies; - as the depth of coal seam development increases, the maximum stress in the gas pipeline pipe decreases according to a quadratic dependence, and the safety factor of the gas pipeline pipe increases according to a linear dependence. Practical value. The parameters of the gas pipeline that ensure safe transportation of the methane-air mixture under the conditions of ground displacement for the accepted conditions have been determined; the results can be used to develop methods for calculating stresses in surface gas pipelines during coalbed methane production and to improve the safety of its transportation.
