Object of research - biological methods of technologies for growing winter peas. Purpose - to develop a system of protection of winter peas with a scientifically grounded degree of ecologization through the use of biological products of different origin, taking into account climate change in the Steppe zone of Ukraine. Research methods: temporary field experiments, laboratory methods of soil and plant research, statistical methods. Results of the research: The entomocomplex of peas of winter sowing, which consisted of 92 species, mainly phytophages (58%) and saprophages (9%), was studied; the main pests were Bruchus pisorum (Coleoptera), Acyrthosiphon pisum (Aphidinea), Cydia nigricana (Lepidoptera). The effectiveness of organic-mineral and biological preparations in the treatment of pea seeds and spraying of vegetative plants was established: biological insecticides Bitoxibacillin M + Lepidocide M (3% solutions) reduced the number of aphids (Aphidinea) on pea crops by 10 times when used three times during the growing season; when using Metarizin M, a higher number of phytophages Chrysomelidae (mostly leafhoppers), saprophages Dermestidae and predators Staphylinidae was observed; treatment of pea seeds of winter sowing with organo-mineral preparations Vitazim and Seed treatment at a dose of 1.5 l/t restrained the development of pathogens at the level of chemical disinfectant Vitavax 200 FF; biological fungicide Vitastim BT (3% solution) in combination with biofungicide Smartgrow (1.5 l/ha) increased the yield of winter peas by 12.2%, provided a net profit of 1611.2 UAH. /ha, but grain quality did not depend on the variants of biological fungicides.
