The impact of climate change on fruit plants, including phenology, yield, physiological aspects, insect pest populations, disease distribution, economic consequences, consumer habits, and directions for further research are explored. It has been established that Ukraine faces serious climate risks, therefore it is important to introduce innovative approaches to resource consumption to reduce gas emissions and increase the ecological sustainability of plants, crop diversification strategies and effective land use methods. The world trends in scientific developments on the protection of fruit plantations from frost were analyzed. The ecological and economic potential for the development of horticulture was studied. Recommendations for the placement of fruit crops, taking into account climate change, using the example of stone species, have been developed. Ways to increase the efficiency of horticulture are defined and the concept of development of commercial fruit and berry cultivation based on the principles of greening and resource conservation is substantiated. Methodical approaches to ecological and economic assessment of horticulture products and a model project of fruit production have been developed, taking into account the need for environmentalization of production processes. The application of research results in horticulture is an important factor in the successful implementation of the Sectoral Program for the Development of Horticulture in Ukraine until 2025.
