The purpose of the work is to carry out tasks in accordance with the priority thematic directions indicated for 2023 in section 2 of the Prospective Development Plan of the State Higher Educational Institution "Ukrainian State Chemical and Technological University" in the scientific direction "Technical Sciences" for the period from 2021 to 2025. Research methods - calculation, X-ray phase analysis, cyclic voltammetry, volumetric methods. It was developed the synthetic rutile from recovered ilmenite of the Samotkan deposit. The conducted research made it possible to develop: a methodology for estimating the rate of dissolution of aluminum and its alloys; the method of evaluating the rate of electrical and mass transfer in porous diaphragms and/or ion-exchange membranes used to separate electrode spaces; method of formation of anode material based on iron-containing products of recovery of ilmenite from Ukrainian raw materials; method of obtaining iron-containing coagulants for water drainage processes.
