The object of research is the process of formation of productivity and grain quality of winter peas under the influence of different fertilizer systems in the arid conditions of the southern Steppe. Purpose - to develop a system of fertilization of peas for winter sowing, to establish the patterns of formation of its productivity against the background of different forms, doses and timing of fertilization, taking into account climate change in the Steppe zone of Ukraine. Research methods: temporary field experiments, laboratory methods of soil and plant research, classification and mathematical data processing. Research results: The application of mineral fertilizers in the cultivation of peas under winter sowing in the arid conditions of the Southern Steppe contributes to the increase of crop productivity, the largest increases in grain yield (1.48-1.33 t/ha) were obtained when using full mineral fertilizer N30-45P40K40. At the main application, the agronomic efficiency of nitrogen fertilizers in the series N30 -N45 -N60 was 18.7 - 14.7 - 11.5 kg of grain per unit of active substance, and in the series N30P40K40 - N45P40K40 - N60P40K40 - 13.4-10.6-9.5; The productivity of peas of winter sowing and the effectiveness of mineral fertilizers was determined by the moisture supply of the growing season (r=0.89; 0.62; 0.65), with an increase in the dose of mineral fertilizers, the influence of precipitation in the autumn period on their effectiveness increases, and to a greater extent when using only nitrogen fertilizers, full mineral fertilization can reduce the negative effect of lack of precipitation by 2.3 times; mineral nutrition increases the protein concentration in the grain of winter peas from 7.4% to 10.2% compared to the variant without fertilization; the profitability of fertilizing peas of winter sowing under different methods and forms of application was established: wi Product Description popup.authors Burykina Svitlana I.
