Existing in Ukraine and abroad methods of developing communicative competence of students of non-linguistic higher educational institutions have been analyzed, methods and means of their formation at various stages of education have been systematized, a system of exercises for teaching terminological vocabulary and English grammar has been developed, which became the creation of “Practical work on teaching different types of communicative competence to students of non-linguistic higher educations at different stages of foreign language learning”. In the process of dealing with issues presented in the practical work, we obtained additional data, which made it possible to turn the practical work unto a manual, namely “Study manual for improving the level of communicative competence in the English language (for students of economic specialties)”.
