The purpose of the work is to study the socio-ecological culture of students of higher education at the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine with the determination of prospective means of its improvement. The study provides for the development of recommendations for modern and appropriate means of increasing the level of their social and ecological culture in accordance with the specifics of the contingent of education seekers, taking into account the prospect of the next introduction of such means into the practice of the educational process. The implementation of the research results will help increase the level of environmental culture, social and valeological literacy of the cadet and student audience, which is absolutely necessary in modern conditions.
