Chebotarev Institute of Gerontology National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2 The actual scientific and practical problem of medical and social care for the elderly was solved - the peculiarities of the organization and the needs of people of older age groups and people with disabilities in long-term care were determined, and the model of the state system of long-term medical and social care for the elderly population in conditions of military operations was scientifically substantiated and their consequences in Ukraine. The functioning of the developed model at the first stage is realized by its part of psychological support of elderly people affected by military actions, which allows to receive online information and consultation of various specialists on medical and social problems. The application of the model of psychological support for citizens of older age groups, affected by military actions, allows to reduce the duration of stress stages by 54% with subsequent psychological adaptation and improve indicators of the quality of social and medical care for the elderly.
