The subject of research is the seismic and acoustic safety parameters of a mass explosion in a quarry, which guarantee the stability of buildings and structures. The main goal of the scientific research is to develop the scientific foundations for the provision of seismic and acoustic safety in the home during mass explosions in quarries and the restoration of the safety of mined areas and the development of the post-war economy and defense research. The methodological basis for solving the set of tasks is the analysis of known scientific results, regarding the methods of forecasting seismic and acoustic safety of blasting, its generalization; solving direct problems on the propagation of seismic and shock-air waves in a multi-layer massif of rocks and in the air to determine their safe parameters for a massive explosion in a quarry, which guarantee the stability of buildings and structures and the integrity of glazing; experimental study of parameters with the help of hardware devices for the registration of seismic and shock-air waves in industrial conditions; the use of the graph-analytical method and the method of mathematical statistics in the processing of experimental data, taking into account economic indicators. Theoretical methods, logical, hypothetical, real-life modeling, computational and graph-analytical, as well as the method of mathematical statistics were used. Experimental: volume-weight, volumetric, sieve, photomicrographs and measurements of geometric parameters.
