Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  In a comprehensive basic and applied research, it has been found that annealing allows the creation of nanoarrays. They can modify functional structures. The important role of the liquid phase in de-wetting processes is shown. It is found that metal-induced crystallisation transforms initially amorphous germanium layers into the crystalline state at 250 °C. The size dependence of the liquid phase formation temperature in Ag/Ge bilayer and trilayer films has been investigated. In bilayer and trilayer films, the melting temperature decreases hyperbolically with decreasing Ag thickness. The presence of the outer layer weakly affects the onset temperature of eutectic melting. However, the melting is completed earlier in the bilayer samples. Differences in morphological evolution are observed between Ag/Ge and Ge/Ag/Ge films. The behaviour of the films of the Ag-Ge binary system is explained within the framework of thermodynamic considerations By studying the photosensitivity of zinc oxide layers with different microstructure, it was found that ZnO layers can be used to create detectors of horizontal and vertical types. Experimental samples of detectors, including those on a flexible fabric substrate, have been proposed. New physical ideas about the nature of photosensitivity of zinc oxide are formed and the existence of two mechanisms of photosensitivity is explained. It is found that the nanocrystalline structure of ZnO particles has a positive effect on the photosensitivity to UV radiation. It is shown that nanosized metal particles, when deposited on the surface of oxide particles, significantly increase the photoresponse. Physical considerations on the mechanism of such a process are given. It is found that the structures fabricated using a cheap SILAR synthesis method have a noticeably higher photosensor activity than layers deposited by a more complex hydrothermal synthesis method.Ways to further improve the photosensor properties of promising sensors are propo Product Description popup.authors Nevgasimov Oleksandr O Petrushenko Serhii Ivanovich popup.nrat_date 2024-01-14 Close
